Marina Grasic


Cargo’s founding and managing partner focuses on financing and production operations. Grasic has an extensive background in the entertainment industry spanning the fields of production, finance, business and legal affairs.  She has produced or executive produced such films as Academy Award© winner CRASH, ALPHA DOG, SMART PEOPLE and NEW YORK, I LOVE YOU. She {C} has recently finished production on ANGRIEST MAN IN BROOKLYN, IN THE BLOOD, EXTRATERRESTRIALS, ZIPPER, and WELCOME TO ME.   A former entertainment attorney with a JD in international law, Grasic previously was COO and co-founder of Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and built it into one of the leading independent feature film companies dedicated to the production of high quality independent films. As an entertainment attorney Marina Grasic has been involved in more than 200 film transactions with studios and large independent production companies, including such pictures as THE AVIATOR, TERMINATOR 3, AROUND THE WORLD IN EIGHTY DAYS, END OF DAYS, HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS, THE LEGEND OF BAGGER VANCE, THE BACHELOR and AUTUMN IN NEW YORK. Previously, Grasic also partnered with producer Chuck Gordon (DIE HARD, FIELD OF DREAMS) and set up a revolving line of credit of $500 million

Mark Lindsay


Cargo’s distribution, licensing and sales operations is headed by Mark who brings over twenty-five years of industry experience working at both major and independent film and television studios such as Miramax, Lorimar Studios, Spelling Films and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment.  Lindsay has had a hand in raising over $800 million in financing for more than fifty motion pictures including; Academy Award© winner CHICAGO, DEATH AT A FUNERAL, the SCREAM trilogy, THE TALENTED MR. RIPLEY, SCARY MOVIE, KILL BILL, SIN CITY, THE USUSAL SUSPECTS and THE PLAYER.  He has also been an Executive Producer and previously served as Vice-Chairman non-California member of the IFTA.

Jan Korbelin


Korbelin has over 20 years of experience in television, film and digital media, including production, development, programming, management, marketing and finance.  He is also one of Cargo’s founding and managing partners and will focus on financing and production operations.  Korbelin was CEO/managing partner of multimedia company Curious Pictures and previously held the position of President of ProSieben Television, which he helped build into one of the largest and most profitable European networks. As partner and managing director of various film and television production companies, Korbelin raised and managed $150 million dedicated to the production of feature films and television programs. His credits as Executive Producer include Academy Award© winner CRASH, ALPHA DOG, COPYING BEETHOVEN, THE CELL, KILL ME THREE TIMES, and THE ANGRIEST MAN IN BROOKLYN.
